Kim and I are thrilled to present our first family session! For years we have photographed families separately. But recently, the idea of applying our dual perspective to our family clients began to arise, as our wedding clients start families of their own!Kate and her incredible family gave us a chance to put our aesthetic into action. Of course, Kate has so much style, she made our job easy. Even the chair is Kate's!
Kate, thank you so much for sharing your family with us! We look forward to capturing the next chapters in your amazing story.K&N

Kim and I were thrilled to photograph Amy and Matt as they tied the knot in San Francisco's iconic City Club! We met Matt last February, when he stood up for Mark at his wedding to Stephanie. When we sat down with Matt and Amy, we just flipped for them-- I love the way he looks at her, and the way Amy has to plant a kiss on him every so often. So sweet!
Amy and Matt, thank you so much for including us in this amazing day! Much love to you!K&N

Niki and I were thrilled to be back in the city for Aaron and Kelly's wedding. Can we just say, we LOVE this couple! Their first sight was maybe the most athetic one we've ever had.
We had a great time walking from the hotels they each stayed at to The Lyon Street Steps to photograph the first sight.
Niki spent time with girls while Kim spent time with the boys - which included going all the way down to a local bar at the BOTTOM of the Lyon Street Steps. Just as the boys sat down for a drink we realized the girls were waiting... so Aaron and Kim RAN 3 blocks back to the steps AND THEN ran all the way back up to meet with Kelly! Whew... got my work out that day.
Niki got to hang out with the girls while Kelly got ready.
While Kim got to hang out with the boys.

Thank you Kim & Nikki for telling our story - we had a wonderful day! We loved gallivanting around Pacific Heights with you and appreciate your athletic efforts in our honor! And your patience as we waited and hoped that the Blue Angles would fly overhead! The sentiments that you captured in your blog take us back to our special day - thank you for being such and important part of it!

We had such a great time starting out at Hotel Vitale where the wedding party got ready, and where Alicia and Eric saw each other first the first time on the roof!
AND LOOK.. there it is. That moment... that moment I love the most.... when the groom turns around and sees his bride for the first time.
Alicia took Eric's breath away. Can you see it?
LOVE.
The wedding party worked it! Nice! This group was rockin that alley! You would never know the was police dealing with some trouble just to the right of us! Ha Ha!
Here Alica and Eric are in the entrance of The Asian Art Museum. Stunning location for a stunning couple!
The First Dance was at once both grand and soul searchingly intimate. The first song was an original song written and performed by Bay Area talent Hyim. It was deeply touching. Check out more pics of the first dance in the slideshow below.
Here are a few details we loved! The bouquet, cake and writer's theme were breath taking. The cake was a personal gift from the chef at The Slanted Door. The most unique wedding cake I have ever seen. A piece of art! Also there was a ring blessing during the ceromony where every quest touched the wedding rings while they floated on a ribbon around the venue before being brought down to Alicia and Eric. Another very unique touch I loved.

Great images....I especially love the shots in the streets and all the great details!
(11.11.09)I loved designing this gown just for Alicia! I had such a fun time creating new, unique pieces for her accessories as well. Pheasant feathers in the bracelet and headpiece...I love it when I can get really playful. Thank you Alicia... You look stunning and you were a joy to work with,
Warmly,
Suzanne Hanley
I was just looking through your blog and was drawn into the various projects, and lo and behold here was the wedding we did for Alicia and Eric. I'd forgotten what a fun wedding this was to create flowers for, and you captured all of it so well! I especially like to see the images of the couple, since we have to go "backstage" for most of this.
Thanks!

FABULOUS!!
Your new blog and new logo and new website look amazing. SO proud of you guys!! We need to get together soon.
We started on the Embarcedero. This is out on Pier 14. The light was beautiful, and Mimi and Chris were naturals in front of the camera!

We landed in Chinatown, right after sunset. Mimi shared with us some memories of spending time here as a child. :)Browse through the blog show, to see more shots from this fantastic session!
